Academic Honors
Dean’s List
An undergraduate student who completes 9 credits or more during a semester and earns a GPA of 3.5 or higher is eligible to receive Dean’s list recognition.
Graduation with Honors
Graduation honors are awarded to students in a bachelor’s degree program whose cumulative grade point average (GPA) at the time of graduation meets the following criteria. The associated honor is included.
3.85 - 4.00

3.70 - 3.84

Magna Cum Laude |
3.50 - 3.69

Cum Laude |
In addition, students must complete a minimum of 45 Wilmington University residency credits in order to be considered for honors. A maximum of 15 credits of challenge by exam and/or prior-learning assessment credit can be applied toward the residency requirement.
