Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Balance a ration for a specific nutrient level using the Pearson Square method or algebraic method. Determine nutrient values for specific feedstuffs using feed composition tables. Identify appropriate nutrient levels for specific classes of sheep, cattle, swine, & horses using NRC tables. Develop basic feeding strategies for sheep, cattle, swine , & horses.
