Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Identify anatomy and understand functions of monogastric and ruminant digestive systems. Describe differences between basic nutrients and explain digestion and absorption of each. Identify critical livestock feedstuffs and describe the composition and functional uses of each. Describe types and function of various livestock feed processing methods.
