Smoke-Free Policy
In order to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors, all Wilmington University owned properties are designated as smoke free.
Smoking is prohibited within the boundaries of all Wilmington University owned properties including all buildings, facilities, indoor and outdoor spaces. This policy applies to parking lots, walkways, sidewalks, and sports venues.
For the purposes of this policy, smoking is defined as the inhalation of smoke in the form of cigarettes, cigars, cigarillos, pipe, bidis, hookahs, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) and/or similar devices. The enforcement of this policy is intended to be educational, but repeat violators may be subject to disciplinary action.
