NUR 323 Nurse as Teacher

This course focuses on the development of teaching skills for professional nursing practice. The course will explore the role of the professional nurse in teaching individuals, families, communities, and peers. Students have the opportunity to develop a comprehensive community-based teaching project to address health education needs in a identified community health setting (The course requires direct care hours).
