CSP 79 Understanding Differences in the U.S.

This course explores the social construction race, gender, class, sexuality, and disability in the context of the United States. Students will consider how sociopolitical factors contribute to the formation and reproduction of oppressive systems in different social institutions, such as schools, the media, and public policy. Students will also explore various approaches to challenging inequity.
