PSY 193 Research Apprenticeship

Students apply their knowledge of psychology through research under the guidance of a faculty member. This course provides students the opportunity to contribute to research, learn specific research skills, and reflect on aspects of the research process. While receiving training and supervision, the student will work with a faculty member on the development, implementation, and/or analyses of a psychological research project. Students will attend regular meetings with their faculty sponsor and complete a research paper or assignment.  Prerequisite: consent of instructor. Recommended: PSY 40, PSY 106, PSY 106L. May be repeated for a total of 12 units. Note: Only 3 units may count toward the major.
