NUR 111 Leadership & Healthcare Policy

This course is designed to introduce the student to the theories and concepts of leadership management roles, and healthcare policy in various settings. Using the Roy Adaptation Model, the student will critically evaluate leadership styles leading to change where safety and quality of care is needed. The course will emphasize the utilization of critical decision-making collaboration, leadership, management, team member skills, and governmental aspects needed to strategically impact the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
