Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Develop a professional portfolio which includes: resume, interview preparation, examples of reflective practice, examples of critical thinking, and a writing sample. Demonstrate an understanding of the relationship of the registered nurse with the Oregon State Board of Nursing. Identify and apply ethical/legal principles associated with professional nursing practice. Assumes responsibility/accountability for professional development. Examines leadership styles and apply them to actual professional nursing situations.
