In conjunction with the Oregon State University Department of Music, provides an opportunity for participation in a concert band. Note: May be repeated three times for credit.

Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Demonstrate an understanding of context in a varied repertoire of music through prepared concert band performances appropriate for a first year concert band member. Develop strategies to address technical and expressive challenges in a varied repertoire of concert band music appropriate for a first year concert band member. Read and perform music at a level appropriate for a first year concert band member.
