CMA 111 Medical Documentation & Screening
This course prepares the student to properly document and organize information for the medical record. This class prepares the student to initially screen patient calls for emergency and other medical intervention.

CMA 101 Medical Terminology & Body Systems I with a C or better.

Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Create a list of current community resources for patient needs. Perform patient screening using established protocols. Organize technical information and summaries. Use medical terminology correctly to document patient encounters. Document in appropriate formats in Electronic Medical Record. Demonstrate professional telephone techniques.
