This course prepares the student to identify and analyze pathologies related to each body system, as well as issues related to the treatment of each pathology and how it changes throughout the lifespan.

Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Identify common pathologies across the lifespan related to each body system, including signs, symptoms and etiology for the following body systems: cardiovascular,respiratory, digestive, endocrine, eyes and ears, urinary, male and female genital and reproductive systems, obstetrics, integumentary, skeletal, muscles and joints. Identify common pathology across the lifespan related to each healthcare discipline including signs, symptoms, and etiology for the following disciplines: Pediatrics, Diagnostic Imaging,Oncology, Pharmacology, Mental Health, Gerontology. Identify diagnostic modalities, including laboratory, imaging, and medical judgement associated with each pathology discussed in this course.
