Covers the components, operations and maintenance of centrifugal pumps. Nomenclature of pumps, pump hydraulics and the procedures used in the performance of routine maintenance activities are illustrated. Pump operating conditions and troubleshooting are also covered.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
To become familiar with the set up and safe operation of procedures of oxyacetylene and metal arc welding processes. Demonstrate basic manipulation skills required by industry in use of oxyacetylene welding, cutting and use of the different arc welding processes. Demonstrate knowledge in metal preparation and understand quality welds and the correct procedures to arrive at them.
