ESP 201 Introduction to Esports Events and Production

The Esports Events and Production course introduces students to the many aspects of organizing an esports event. Students will learn to assess venue requirements, team requirements, competitor rules, audience and the critical roles and logistics during event planning and budgeting. The course also covers the stakeholders involved in esports business operations, technical terminology, and the player experience. Students will consider the diverse and evolving nature of the industry, the potential for career paths, and the necessary skills needed to be successful in the Esports arena.
