Petition for Exception to Academic Policies

To obtain an exception to an academic rule or policy, a student must submit in writing a petition to the Associate Dean for Academics or their designee. The student is urged to discuss the particulars of the situation with the Associate Dean for Academics, who will render a decision or direct the petition to the Academic Review Committee. The decision by the Associate Dean for Academics or the Academic Review Committee may be appealed to the Dean of the School of Law, whose decision is final.
