PSY 324 Applying Psychology in Professional Contexts

The ability to apply the knowledge, attitudes and skills learned as part of one's undergraduate degree program to a wide variety of career choices is a key skill set for the successful professional. This 3-credit course explores topics to help students prepare for success in their future careers, including applying psychological concepts and skills to career goals, enhancing skills in self-efficacy and self-regulation, practicing skills for project management, applying skills for teamwork capacity, and developing meaningful professional direction for life after graduation. Meeting the Learning Outcomes of this course will help students be successful in their chosen profession.
