PSY 270 Research Methods and Data Analysis I
Introduces the basic principles and methods of research. Students will conduct a basic research study and analyze the data using descriptive and inferential statistics. This course also focuses on ethical considerations in research and writing an APA-style research report.
Prerequisite
PSY 201 (may be taken concurrently with permission of the department chair) and a C or better in
MATH 136 or MATH 140
Corequisite
PSY 201 may be taken concurrently with PSY 270, but it is highly recommended to take it prior to PSY 270
