AUT 113 Automotive Brakes

Students will learn the mechanics and physics of brake systems in their development from early hydraulics to ABS systems. They will perform diagnostics, component replacement and repair, hydraulic systems pressure tests, and total overhaul of brake systems including ABS. Successful completion of the course prepares students to pass the ASE certification examination for brakes. Students will be prepared and encouraged to take the ASE certification examination for brakes.
