ENG 150 Researched Writing

Researched Writing is a course that teaches students how to: summarize, research, formulate a thesis, make an outline, incorporate the student's own ideas, use short quotations, use long quotations, paraphrase, and format a research paper according to the Modern Language Association (MLA), the American Psychological Association (APA) and Chicago Manual of Style (CMS). The course also incorporates instruction in the use of the Internet and electronic sources. Courses requirements include writing exercises, class discussion, quizzes, exams, oral presentation, library research and a research paper.
