ENG 102 College Writing II

The second part of a one-year writing sequence, ENG 102 emphasizes the creation of clear and thoughtful prose based on the interpretation of the content, style, and structure of imaginative texts, with an emphasis placed on literary forms such as poetry, short stories, novels, and dramas.  A minimum of six essays is required.  One is an argumentative research paper (documented essay); students are required to receive a passing grade on this paper in order to pass the course.
