CSP 73 My Self(ie): Reflections on Life in the Digital Age

It's second nature to post, to "like," and to comment. But should it be? You be the judge. In this course, we'll explore a range of issues related to the "digital me": citizenship, personal representation/presentation, politics, consumerism, and privacy. Readings will range from theoretical works to popular culture criticism and fiction. Participants will bring their individual knowledge, interests and talents to the collective table in order to analyze and propose solutions to real world problems. The goal of the final research paper is to improve or illuminate a small corner of the digital landscape.
