ECON 250 Intermediate Microeconomic Theory

Foundations of microeconomic theory. Topics include: the analysis of consumer theory and decision making; the theory of the firm under perfect competition, general equilibrium, and market inefficiency arising from monopolistic/oligopolistic/strategic behavior; incomplete information; externalities; and public goods. Should be completed before the end of the sophomore year. May be taken before or after ECON 251. Should not be taken in the same semester as ECON 251.
