COMP 313 Computer Graphics

The key to the animation and videogame industries is the ability to display simulated worlds in real time. Starting with representing three-dimensional space, this course will teach students the data structures and algorithms, such as quadtrees; texture mapping; and ray tracing, to create photorealistic images. High-performance computer graphics require an understanding of computational efficiency, which is presented in Data Structures (COMP 229).
