PHIL 299 Philosophy Seminar

This course is an intensive reading and writing seminar, which introduces students to independent research in philosophy. The course will have three elements:  (1) a classroom focus on how to critically and charitably read recent scholarship in philosophy along with weekly technical writing assignments; (2) a directed and structured independent research project; and (3) a speaker series in which three Los Angeles-area philosophers workshop "works-in-progress."
