BIO 275 Flora of Southern California

Identification and classification of plants found in the various vegetational communities of Southern California, with emphasis on understanding their ecological and evolutionary affinities. Current methods of field sampling and systematic analysis will be employed. Includes one three-hour laboratory per week and other field trips to be arranged.
