The 160 Series
Designed for non-science students interested in different aspects of physical science the courses numbered 160-169 rarely have prerequisites beyond algebra and trigonometry and many are open only to students who have not taken PHYS 106
PHYS 110/
PHYS 115 PHYS 120/
PHYS 125 or their equivalents. Typically only one or two courses are offered from this series each year. The Department reserves the right to cancel classes with extremely small enrollments.
