GEO 342 Geomorphology

Landforms and their interpretation in terms of tectonic and climatic processes will be presented. The focus will be on landforms such as mountain belts faults and landslides caused by active tectonic processes. Methods of dating and quantifying geologic events will be introduced. Scientific writing skills will be emphasized. Includes one three-hour laboratory per week and field trip.
