CTSJ 399 Advanced Methods: Topics in Guided Collaborative Research

Students in this advanced methods course will join the professor in conducting and research in the specialty areas of the instructor. This course will fulfill a methods requirement and will necessitate that the student participates with the professor and other students in a collaborative manner to meet the goals of the research project. Research methods may include critical discourse, oral histories, archival work, ethnography, and interview methods. Research projects may include topics such as: 1) Youth and Incarceration; 2) The Discourse of "War"; 3) Europe's Discourse on Migrant People; 4) Literacy, Language, and Children to name a few. May be repeated once for credit.
