COMP 367 Practicum in Computer Science

The largest programming projects are completed by multiple computer scientists working together. Clients across Oxy and Eagle Rock will propose problems with computational solutions, and which we will complete in teams as a semester long-project. Using standard tools such as version control, we will apply the principles of user-centered design to software: understand the needs of the client, developing software, testing the product with the user, before repeating the cycle.
