BIO 340 Advanced Animal Physiology

Dynamic physiological properties will be examined in single cells tissues and whole organisms. Emphasis will be placed on the physiology of excitable cells and their integration in the whole animal. Laboratories will utilize advanced recording techniques including microelectrodes isometric tension measurements semi-intact preparations and modern electronics.
