This theory and clinical course focuses on the care of the client experiencing common alterations in the body's structure, functions and regulatory mechanisms. Collaborative care will be discussed with an emphasis on using the Roy Adaptation Model, a conceptual model which guides the steps of the nursing process, in developing plans of care.
