LIN 101 Introduction to Linguistics

This course introduces the students to the study of language by providing an overview of the field of linguistic, specifically the sound system (phonology), sentence organization (syntax), word formation (morphology), how language is acquired and learned (L1 & L2 acquisition), and language contact and use (sociolinguistics).
