FYS 2S First-Year Seminar Spirit of the Founders (CSJs)

FYS Spirit of the Founders will include coursework that deepens students’ understanding of the Mission of the University and the spirit and charism of its founders, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. Students will begin to engage the Catholic Intellectual Tradition as expressed in the CSJ Mission of serving God and Neighbor as one by analyzing and applying this knowledge to advance the core values of social justice, human rights, and engagement.  Completion with at least a “C-“ is required. Pre-requisite: FYS 1. (Graded)
