VT 105 Customer Service/Job Success for Veterinary Asst

Designed as an overview course to familiarize students with veterinary practice front office software systems, on-line applications, e-mail, word processing, spreadsheets and customer contact software. Emphasis will be on the veterinary practice front office software systems.Students acquire skills in the basic concepts of communication, personal and patient interaction, and professional behavior. The course is designed to teach employability skills such as job search techniques, resume writing, job applications, employment tests, cover letters, mock interviews, and professional dress and grooming. Required: Admission to the Veterinary Assistant program.
