The second in a 2-course series that covers the basic structures and functions of the human body. This course addresses the following body systems: cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive, urinary, endocrine, and reproductive. Required: Admission into the OTA program.

Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Identify the basic structures and functions of the cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, endocrine, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems of the human body. Identify common effects of select disorders, diseases, and injuries on the cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, endocrine, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems of the human body.
