HON 485 Faculty Mentored Capstone Research on the Common Good

This course enables a small group of students to work with a fulltime faculty member in preparation of their Honors capstone experience. Students will be engaged in individual thesis, research project or original, creative piece and be conducting this research under the guidance and direction of the faculty member teaching the course. Research may include a major thesis project or honors thesis project in which students participate in research activities which can include literature reviews, data collection, data analysis, research design and methods, etc. Students will present their projects and discuss their relevance to the core concepts of the Honors program.

ENG 201 and permission of the instructor.

This course is restricted to students in the John Jay or Macaulay Honors Programs.
