Transfer Students and General Education
For students transferring to John Jay College, the number of Common Core and College Option courses depends on multiple factors, including the transfer institution, whether or not the student earned a degree before transferring, the number of credits earned, and how the transfer credit has been evaluated. After the credits have been evaluated, they are posted on the student’s John Jay College record. Students should check with an academic advisor after their transfer credits have been posted to confirm completed and remaining requirements.
