UGR 250 Prior Learning Seminar

3 hours

This course provides a framework for students to explore and document how their prior work or life experiences demonstrate college-level learning. The course will help students distinguish between experience and the higher-order thinking and content learned from experience. Students will create a portfolio documenting and explaining the knowledge, skills and abilities they have gained, and will use that portfolio to petition subject area experts for college-credit in one or more subjects.
