MED 7804 Curriculum Design and Instructional Strategies for Gifted and Talented Learners

This course is designed to help educators identify and use appropriate curricular, instructional, and assessment strategies to meet the needs of gifted and talented learners at both the school and district level. Educators will explore curriculum models, develop and implement instructional strategies, and design assessments for gifted and talented programs. Appropriate information/communication technology will be used in researching, preparing, presenting, and implementing lesson plans and units. Candidates will complete 10 hours of fieldwork.
