CYB 6005 Applied Cybersecurity

The Applied Cybersecurity reacquaints students with fundamental cybersecurity concepts, various approaches for security architectures, and provides students with cybersecurity engineering design principles. The course stresses the various foundational elements of Cybersecurity such as safeguarding digital assets and information from unauthorized access, misuse, or cyber-attacks. Students will utilize cybersecurity principles such as confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation. Students will also demonstrate knowledge of security architectures and implications for incident response, security operations, and application of forensic techniques to detect, investigate, analyze, and prevent  various cyber-attacks.
