TEC 325 Business of Freelancing

This course will teach Media Design students the finer points of copyright and intellectual property rights. Students will write business contracts, model releases and learn to negotiate fees with clients. Planning and logistics of freelance assignments will be emphasized. This is a hands-on course where students design and photograph weekly assignments according to their majors. Collaborative critiques and discussions will take place.
