CHE 363 Organic Chemistry I

This is the first organic chemistry course in the organic chemistry course sequence. It is intended for science majors, as well as related disciplines. Students will examine structure, synthesis, and reactions of the principle classes of organic compounds with stress on stereochemistry, reaction mechanisms, and spectroscopic properties. Students will also apply laboratory practice in the separation, identification, and synthesis of organic compounds.
