CHE 261 Chemistry I

This is the first chemistry course in the general chemistry sequence. Students will review fundamental lab procedures, as well as study the foundational concepts in Chemistry; metric system measurements, significant figures, scientific notation, temperature conversion on SI-Units. In this lab course, students will apply the knowledge of measurements, acid and base titrations, in laboratory experiments. Students will also learn different stoichiometric
calculations such as molar mass and percent compositions.
