TRiO Scholars
The TRiO Scholars Program (SSS), funded via a federal grant, provides opportunities for academic development, assists students with basic college requirements, and motivates students to reach successful completion of their post-secondary education to increase retention and graduation rates of participants. The TRiO Scholars program is designed to support 140 students per academic year, by providing academic and career counseling, tutoring, mentoring, and financial-aid guidance. In addition, the program offers off campus student enhancement activities to enrich students' total academic experience.
