SPE 104 Voice and Diction for International Students

This course is designed to help international students improve their voice and articulation.  This training in general American speech aims at minimizing first language influence upon English pronunciation.  The object of this class is to help international students improve their voice and articulation ability since oral communication is a primary requirement for success in this society.  Exercises in breath control and correct voice production are used to improve vocal quality, range, rate and power.  Each student receives individual attention in order to target sound errors.
