POL 250 Comparative Government

Each student in this class becomes an expert on a particular country -- Nigeria, India, USA -- while studying components of all governments: basic laws; executive, legislative and judicial branches; political parties; intergovernmental relations. Through research, lectures and seminars, the class learns how different forms of government attempt to solve common problems (education, welfare, civil liberties). Recommended for students who plan to live, travel or do business in other lands.
