NUR 214 Basic Cardiac Life Support -AHA

This course addresses the need to prepare individuals in the community to administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation. It fulfills the American Heart Association's requirement for professional certification in Basic Life Support and includes topics such as national statistics of cardiac mortality and the roles of the health-care professional in a culturally diverse society. Satisfactory course completion fulfills one credit of the physical education requirement.
