MAT 105 Mathematics for the Classroom Teacher

The intent of the course is to give current or future teachers a strong foundation in mathematical concepts that can be incorporated into their teaching. It is not a methods course. Topics include: inductive and deductive reasoning; estimation; sets, logic, numerical systems and number theory; operations with real numbers; basic geometry; basic algebra, probability and statistics.
