HIS 130 Coming to America

Consideration of the various waves of immigration to the United States including the present demographic and spatial characteristics of our population. Systematic themes will include: population changes; dominant group versus minority group interaction; evolution of discriminatory spatial behavior; and the role of cities in immigration and multicultural evolution.
