ESL 039 Applications of Language Skills I

This course is an intensive course designed for students assessed at the Intermediate I level of English competency. The class is devoted to individually tailored learning activities and small group activities which concentrate on applications of the four basic language skills - speaking, listening, reading comprehension, paragraph writing, class/small group discussion and presentations. These skills are taught with the goal of giving students sufficient command of the language to move toward higher levels.
